Hope all is well with you!<br /><br />Cheers,<br />AaronPrufrockhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17659918463589870423noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7386336651732048473.post-19861257028987223632023-01-15T01:22:04.059+09:002023-01-15T01:22:04.059+09:00Hello, this is Bruno from Italy. A wargamer since childhood (45+ years ago), I have got interested in games like W1815 and Table Battles as a base for miniature games, much like your refight of Pharsalus. I agree with you that W1815 (and more recently Freeman's Farm and Chancellorsville 1863 from Worthington Games, Saladin from Shako Games) are more satisfying mechanisms than Table Battles - BTW I happened to develop a Bosworth scenario for a SOA battleday from W1815. Neverthess IMHO Table Battles lends itself much more easily to new scenarios and I have been able to design several of them in a comparatively short time... just my 2 cents. I have been playing it solo, so perhaps with an opponent it's more enjoyable. Have just had the Lambo Medieval Battles book arrive, so looking forward to giving that a look.Prufrockhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17659918463589870423noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7386336651732048473.post-64711524733044993112022-06-27T10:42:57.082+09:002022-06-27T10:42:57.082+09:00If you want to try it they have the print and play...If you want to try it they have the print and play version on wargame vault I think. Some people really like it.
