My children seem to understand rolling multiple dice and checking for hits (at the moment we are playing a very simplifed Heroscape that I picked up form a thrift store). And a 9 year old I played ww2 20mm against liked rolling multiple dice and counting hits. I am thinking that this seems to be the way to go for introduction to the hobby. I think you are onto a winner with these rules.

And I really like your die rolling and PIP allocation for activation.Shaun Travershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05691522858410783769noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7386336651732048473.post-85968426729355843192014-05-09T01:54:30.704+09:002014-05-09T01:54:30.704+09:00Cheers, John! The guys naturally turned the units towards the closest enemy which is why there are some facing changes shown, but they are purely cosmetic. The dice scores I used were 1 for retreats, 4 for leader hits, 5 for sword hits, 6 for 'color' hits. Hope that clears things up!

AaronPrufrockhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17659918463589870423noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7386336651732048473.post-37937955976653099142014-05-09T01:12:10.666+09:002014-05-09T01:12:10.666+09:00Great looking game Aaron. Couple of questions.

Are you using any flanking rules or did you just make facing changes for show?

Using the ordinary D6s...is there a fundamental change here or do you just roll against a chart and have the same general results?

JohnJohnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17580996687227953658noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7386336651732048473.post-43866658119980739682014-05-08T10:14:48.333+09:002014-05-08T10:14:48.333+09:00Thanks all!Thanks all!Prufrockhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17659918463589870423noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7386336651732048473.post-78832391580927559752014-05-08T08:05:08.274+09:002014-05-08T08:05:08.274+09:00Great looking Zama, Aaron!
