A good morning for a spray

And it was: an excellent morning. Day off, good weather, and a batch of figures that has been sitting and waiting for a spray for some months.

They are a real mixed bag of 1/72 figures. Italeri, Esci, Revell, Imex plastics with some RSM metals. Not showcase quality, but once the bases and flags are done they'll be fit for purpose.

  1. Civil War I see.

Raining here, and dummy me tried to use testors dulcote on one of my mice figures. Oh yeah, it frosted. Grrr. I resprayed gloss to get rid of it and had to wait to next day to try again.

    1. Hate it when that happens! At least the gloss fixes it though!

  2. Aaron, I really like the arrangement on the bases. Are they based to specific rules? and is each unit comprised of a long and a short base. The 1/72 is a nice scale.

    1. They're sort of based flexibly for Volley & Bayonet, with one long base and two short bases too put into square, or for other rules where you can put the long and two short bases into line, or where you can just use one the long base as one unit and not use the smaller bases. A bit higgledy piggledy really, but I figure I'm going to be supplying both sides, so who cares! :)

  3. I put 4 coats on my gaming figures (2 gloss and two matt) and weather plays a big part in determining when I can varnish.

    1. Yeah, that's a good system. I don't use quite that many because I have a dip on as well, but they probably could use an extra coat just to improve longevity!

  4. A good looking set of figures. The grouping of figures on bases looks very effective.
